World Expo Area With the longest commercial history in Pudong, the district is located in southwestern part of Pudong. It will become a major site to hold Shanghai Expo in 2010.
Pudong New International Expo Center
As the administrative center of Pudong, the region offers Pudong New International Exhibition Center, which is the largest one of its kind in Asia. Century Park, Metro Line 2, and Maglev Train to Pudong Airport are all available in the region.
Pudong Zhangjiang District Zhangjiang High-Tech Zone, known as the Silicon Valley of Shanghai, attracts large numbers of local and foreign high-tech companies. It is a major routeway from Pudong International Airport to downtown area.
Pudong Jinqiao District Pudong Jinqiao District is set in the central area of Pudong, surrounded by Waigaoqiao Tariff-free zone, Zhangjiang High-tech Zone, and Lujiazui Financial District. It is an important industrial base of Shanghai.
Pudong Waigaoqiao District Waigaoqiao District is set at the northeastern corner of Pudong. It is an important import & export hub of Shanghai. Manufacturing companies and trading companies converge in this region.
